Designs and supports pilot and large-scale carbon capture plants, including process calculations, equipment sizing, P&IDs, process simulations, safety reviews, vendor document reviews, and FEED/EPC project deliverables. The role develops engineering philosophies, specifications, utility summaries, and design tools while supporting proposals, customer needs, project timelines, and business growth. Requires chemical engineering expertise, industrial process design experience, and knowledge of gas processing and CO2 removal technologies.

Design and improve carbon capture plants, including pressure vessels, process piping, mechanical equipment, skids, structural supports, and plant layouts. Produce 3D CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, specifications, datasheets, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations. Coordinate vendors, support factory acceptance testing, inspections, installation, commissioning, and safety reviews. The role requires pressure-equipment design expertise, recognized pressure-code knowledge, and experience in process plants, EPC/EPCM, or pressure-vessel manufacturing.
