Leads EMEA sales engineering strategy and a team of sales engineers. Partners with sales and customers on technical evaluations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, solution design, proposals, and trusted-advisor relationships. Oversees hiring, mentoring, performance management, technical collateral, metrics, budgets, and customer feedback to product and engineering teams. Requires extensive EMEA sales engineering leadership experience and expertise in cloud, container, and security technologies.

Develop and expand enterprise accounts across the UK, execute territory sales plans, communicate product value, manage pipelines and CRM opportunities, forecast performance, exceed quotas, and collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams. The role requires enterprise technology sales expertise, knowledge of cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, and software development life cycle environments, strong communication, competitive drive, and willingness to travel to clients when needed.

Lead and develop a team of customer success managers serving enterprise customers across EMEA and APJ. Define segment strategies, operationalize engagement models, monitor adoption and customer health, mitigate churn, support renewals and expansion, and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to improve retention, growth, forecasting, processes, tooling, automation, and reporting. The role requires a metrics-driven approach and acts as the customer voice internally.

Lead design and implementation of the Libraries Platform: services, pipelines, package index, automation for builds, CVE remediation, SBOM/provenance, AI-assisted patching, and reliability/observability for multi-ecosystem package workflows.

Lead Chainguard's vulnerability pipeline: measure, disclose, and report thousands of novel vulnerabilities weekly. Run CNA/CVE assignment, coordinate embargoes, automate large-scale pipelines, and represent Chainguard in industry and public-sector forums.

Partner with Sales to qualify and win enterprise deals by assessing technical requirements, delivering demos, POVs/POCs, and RFP/RFI responses. Own technical aspects of opportunities, secure technical wins, engage stakeholders, and represent Chainguard at webinars, meetups, and conferences while growing new logos and existing accounts.

Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository services: build and operate high-availability backend systems in Go, design package registries and APIs, drive scalability, reliability, observability, and mentor engineers while partnering across teams to expand artifact support.
