Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of complex senior debt transactions for UK manufacturing, industrials, and defence clients. Develop relationships with corporate clients, private equity sponsors, and advisers; execute sector coverage strategies; maintain credit discipline; generate income and risk-adjusted returns; represent the bank externally; and mentor colleagues within Strategic Finance.

Lead enterprise-wide insider risk management across security, privacy, fraud, technology, people, legal, and other control functions. Assess aggregate risk exposure, analyze data and intelligence, identify emerging threats and control weaknesses, produce executive reporting, and influence senior stakeholders. Develop and improve insider risk frameworks, governance, policies, and operating models; lead investigations and thematic reviews; drive remediation; and strengthen risk culture, control maturity, and organizational resilience.

Provides independent operational risk oversight and constructive challenge across major strategic change and integration programmes. Reviews governance, delivery progress, risk assessments, dependencies, assumptions, and key decisions; prepares steering committee materials and maintains risk opinions and planning records. The role partners with programme leaders, technology teams, compliance specialists, senior stakeholders, and regulators, while coordinating oversight resources and assessing compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
