Lead the development, testing, debugging, and technical design of scalable backend systems, integrations, and cloud applications. Establish engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, DevSecOps, observability, incident management, and operational excellence. Partner with architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver commercial planning solutions. Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled development practices.

Designs end-to-end B2B and B2C solution architectures for international commerce, including APIs, event-driven integrations, data movement, security, resilience, and operational supportability. Produces high-level designs, architecture decision records, and reusable patterns; provides assurance through delivery; evaluates technology and modernization options; and aligns engineering, product, delivery, platform, and partner teams across cloud, on-premises, legacy, and external systems.

Design and maintain reliable data solutions, lead a squad of engineers, develop scalable data pipelines, and ensure adherence to data standards.

Lead and develop a Data Science team to deliver scalable ML/AI solutions for an online Personalisation programme, ensuring impactful customer experiences.

Lead and manage a software engineering team to deliver scalable, reliable commercial trading and planning solutions. Provide technical direction, ensure operational stability, enforce engineering standards, manage vendors, and drive delivery excellence across cloud-native systems.

Lead technical design and delivery of supply chain and warehouse software at scale. Drive architecture, DevOps, observability, reliability and performance practices; mentor senior engineers; influence product and technology strategy; promote clean code and engineering excellence across teams; support recruitment and outreach.

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, build, release, and run international pricing platforms. Ensure operational stability, deliver high-quality cloud-first solutions, drive engineering excellence, DORA standards, and cross-functional requirements like security and performance. Partner with Product and Delivery to meet business goals and enable scalable pricing across international markets.

Lead design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native backend systems and integrations. Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, champion testing and observability, mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive operational excellence.
