Leads GitLab’s corporate development strategy, including market research, competitive analysis, investment theses, build-buy-partner decisions, and executive recommendations. Manages acquisitions end to end, including target evaluation, valuation, negotiations, cross-functional diligence, legal documentation, closing, and post-acquisition integration. Partners with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, executives, and external investors to guide inorganic growth and strategic partnerships.

Manages 5–10 Strategic Account Executives, coaches and hires sales talent, develops solution-selling capabilities, builds executive relationships, and ensures delivery against revenue and pipeline targets. Partners with Marketing, Customer Success, Ecosystems, and Sales teams to grow the public sector business and deliver long-term customer value.

Leads the architecture and delivery of GitLab’s static analysis engine and evaluation tooling. Owns program modeling, vulnerability detection quality, SAST rules, AI-assisted development guardrails, and benchmark validation. Sets technical direction, mentors engineers, coordinates complex initiatives, contributes to research and open source, and participates in on-call rotations. The role requires deep program analysis, application security, systems programming, performance optimization, containerized CI/CD, and experience building trustworthy LLM tooling.

Serve as a technical advisor to EMEA prospects, leading discovery, demonstrations, workshops, proofs of value, solution design, and technical evaluations. Partner with account executives to support new customer acquisition, advise on DevSecOps, cloud, security, and software development practices, and build trusted customer relationships. Provide customer feedback to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing while creating reusable technical guidance and collateral.

Manage full-cycle technical recruiting for Engineering, Product, Security, UX, and R&D roles. Build diverse talent pipelines, use recruiting data to guide decisions, maintain accurate Greenhouse documentation, deliver an inclusive candidate experience, and improve recruiting practices through responsible AI use and shared resources.

Build and maintain software, automation, tooling, and infrastructure that support GitLab demos, workshops, trials, and internal test environments. Improve the Demo Architect Portal, enable self-service, create technical workshop assets, troubleshoot environments, and collaborate with sales, solutions architecture, customer success, marketing, UX, and engineering teams. The role combines software engineering, infrastructure operations, technical enablement, and customer-facing collaboration in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Design, implement, and evolve complex backend capabilities for GitLab’s global DevSecOps platform.
