Design and prototype levels for AAA PC and console games, including traversal, exploration, combat, stealth, and narrative spaces. Implement and iterate missions in open-world environments using Unreal Engine 5, collaborate with art, audio, and narrative teams, and own gameplay areas through peer review, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Design intuitive UI and UX for AAA games across PC and console platforms. Owns the engineering co-development resourcing pipeline from intake through execution. Success requires strong organization, communication, empathy, judgment, and composure. Experience as a C++ engineer in AAA gaming is required; Standard Chinese proficiency and Asian technical partnership experience are advantageous.

Manage end-to-end game production projects and strategic client and partner relationships across China and Asia. Responsibilities include budgets, scheduling, risk and change management, conflict resolution, partnership development, onboarding, client liaison, and promoting Sumo’s co-development and art services. The role requires fluent Mandarin, significant experience shipping game titles with external partners, strong relationship-building skills, cultural awareness, commercial judgment, and negotiation expertise.
