Our end-to-end technology solutions cover a wide range of needs for Banking, Financial Services, Utilities, Insurance, Retail organisations, and beyond.We are seeking a highly qualified IT Project Manager to oversee complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations for a European Commission project in Luxembourg.
A Day in the Life of an IT Project Manager will include:
- Draft proposals for project strategies, scope and planning;
- Definition of tasks and deliverables and review of project deliverables;
- Lead the project activities and performing project quality control, risk analysis and management;
- Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference;
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan;
- Manage and monitor budget, costs, risk, timeline and resources. Act where these deviate from agreed tolerances and apply risk mitigation strategies;
- Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors;
- Analysis of business needs, formulating and drafting functional and non-functional business specifications and ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria;
- Analysing, documenting, modelling business processes, providing cost/benefit analysis, suggesting process improvements;
- Lead cross-functional teams in an international/multicultural environment;
- Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts to maintain productivity;
- Participate in functional and technical working groups and progress meetings;
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, clients, and external partners;
- Prepare and present regular and accurate progress status reports to senior management;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
- University degree (minimum three years) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years in IT, with 3 years in software project management;
- Hands-on experience with all stages of the system development life cycle (SDLC);
- Minimum 1 year in quality assurance processes;
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, PM2 or equivalent certifications;
- Good knowledge of English (Level B2 - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages);
- Basic knowledge of French (Level A2 – _Common European Framework of Reference for Languages);
- Strong technical skills and thorough understanding of software development processes and technologies;
- Knowledge of Agile, SCRUM, or Waterfall methodologies Creating and reviewing technical documentation and reports;
- Knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML/CSS, JSON, XML);
- Time, scope, risk and budget management;
- Stakeholder engagement and management;
- Analytical and conceptual thinking with excellent communication skills;
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in teamwork.
