What It's Like to Work at Nisos

Despite being a remote work environment, I truly feel like I’m a part of a team that cares about one another, proactively supports, and continuously pushes us to be the best version of ourselves that we can be.

Working at Nisos is what I imagine playing in the MLB All-Star Game might like: Sharing space with elite-level people, putting out phenomenal work, and having a great time doing it!

We’ve always wanted to be the greatest open source intelligence company and knew we would never fail with the team we’ve built.

I’m so grateful to have found a company that recognizes and appreciates my unique skillset and does it while actively promoting flexibility. Flexibility fosters diversity.

At Nisos, we traverse time zones and get to pass the baton amongst teammates who are mission-driven, smart, motivated, fun, and empowered to do their best work. As a remote company, we rely on each other heavily, respect each others’ personal obligations, and lean into delivering a best-in-class work product.

Communication is key to my role. Keeping groups up to date with what is evolving and how it may impact them is key to reducing potential challenges down the line. It’s also important I communicate the “why” of what we are doing, not just the “how”, so everyone has a clear line of sight to how they how they are impacting the mission.
