PeopleCert is seeking a dynamic Technology Project Manager to manage and coordinate key technology projects. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and contribute to the success of technology initiatives.
As a Technology Project Manager your tasks will include the following:
· Managing the lifecycle of technology projects, employing Waterfall and Agile methodologies to meet project objectives within scope, on time, and within budget.
· Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements, ensuring they align with project goals and organizational priorities.
· Supporting project communications and stakeholder engagement by preparing and delivering timely updates and progress reports.
· Working effectively in a team environment, collaborating closely with various teams, including Software Architects, Business Analysts, Information Security, and both internal and external engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
· Coordinating resource allocation and managing dependencies to ensure projects remain on track.
· Monitoring project progress through action plans and tracking tools, ensuring visibility for stakeholders and leaders.
· Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to address potential challenges.
· Documenting lessons learned and promoting process improvements across the team.
What we look for:
· Educational Background in Informatics Technology, Engineering or relevant field.
· Experience in Project Management, particularly in technology-related projects.
· Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
· Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE 2, PMP, CAPM) is preferred. Familiarity with IT Governance & Service Management (e.g., ITIL) will be considered a plus.
· Experience with MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with online project management tools (e.g., Wrike, JIRA) is desirable.
· Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle is required.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Well-organized, self-driven, and able to manage projects in a fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical thinking, effective decision-making, problem-solving skills. Ability to think "out of the box". Passion for success and a drive for results.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
