Job Responsibilities:
Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead development activities for underperforming suppliers through the Top Focus process
  • Conduct onsite assessment of potential suppliers
  • Participate in supplier tech reviews
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify underperforming suppliers
  • Support in corrective action review for major customer events
  • Participate and monitor the supplier APQP process


Professional experience and education:

  • Degree in a technical discipline preferred
  • 5 years' experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Ability to develop suppliers to meet global OEM regulations and requirements
  • Experience in supplier evaluation and development, continuous quality improvement, and open issues management
  • Solid understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements including Process Control Plan, SPC, GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEA
  • Certified Auditor to VDA 6.3


Skills and competencies:

  • Hands on mentality with a proactive approach to identify and avoid problems in an early stage
  • Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong technical, engineering and communication skills in a global automotive environment
  • Solid organizational and project management skills and demonstrated effectiveness to lead and collaborate with cross functional/global teams
