The Role

Wolfspeed NI are looking for a Senior SAP Systems Analyst, MDG to join their SAP team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who manages and supports SAP at Wolfspeed. Within this team you be responsible for designing and configuring MDG software solutions to help streamline business processes.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with the technical and communication skills needed to interface directly with internal stakeholders to administer and enhance the system.  You will have strong experience with master data, configuration, and transactions supporting MDG, specifically, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Material, and Financial Master data. In this critical role, you will have a deep understanding of approval workflows and MDG integration with S4. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship when needed and ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards. 

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance MDG solutions.
  • Assist in defining business processes and recommend solutions to help streamline those processes.
  • Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and business rules within the MDG framework.  Design and configure SAP MDG modules, including data modeling, data replication, data quality management and data consolidation.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration of MDG with other SAP S/4HANA modules and external systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements.
  • Configure system features as per business requirements and create documentation, including functional specifications, test planning and execution.
  • Advanced MDG configuration and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization
  • Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.
  • Collaborate with Wolfspeed Support teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
  • Support End User Training on new system functionality.
  • Advanced Ariba configuration and overall product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization.
  • Communicate and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for Ariba design (covering people, process, and technology).
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Track/Manage changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
  • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
  • Gain understanding of company products, functions, marketing, and/or service policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Act as mentor to junior team members.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience in Solution Design, Configuration, Implementation and Support MDG
  • Experience in integration of MDG with S4
  • Knowledge of MDG enhancements provided by SAP such as BADIs and user exits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the reporting objects and previous experience producing functional & technical specifications

Nice to have

  • Semiconductor experience.
