ROLE OVERVIEW: 

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing risk management projects in banking sector. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Lead project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with banking projects. Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • IT Support: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate technological solutions into banking projects. Provide support for IT-related aspects of project execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members. Provide regular updates on project progress and risk status.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet quality standards and deliverables are aligned with business objectives. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk assessments, project plans, and progress reports.

Responsibilities

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on risk management projects.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and understanding of risk management frameworks, banking regulations, and IT systems.
  3. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  4. Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent; CRM or FRM certification is desirable.
  5. Other Requirements: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain comprehensive documentation.
