ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage hedging-related change activities within the Treasury and Hedge Accounting value stream. This role involves comprehensive project management, including establishing delivery plans, defining operating models, handling risks and issues, and ensuring appropriate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall project management oversight for changing activities within scope.
- Establish delivery plans and define operating models.
- Handle risks and issues, ensuring appropriate governance is in place.
- Collaborate closely with Treasury Capital Management, Hedge Accounting, Product Control teams, and Technology teams to deliver project outcomes and objectives.
- Ensure projects comply with the bank's Change Framework methodology.
- Prioritize time towards the most important issues and effectively delegate to support Business Analysts.
- Establish target operating models involving multiple teams and businesses.
- Manage complex business operating models and architectures that vary across locations and products.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Finance/Hedge Accounting project delivery role.
- At least 6 years of project delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, including waterfall and agile, with experience tailoring them to specific project characteristics.
- Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets, with FX Hedging knowledge being a plus.
- Experience leading a small team is ideal.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in standard change delivery toolsets, including Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and produce clear project artifacts.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in shaping delivery approaches and motivating teams.
- Proven rapid learning capability in a changing environment.
- Ability to build relationships and influence others, including business heads, senior managers, technical experts, and business users.
