The Markets and Client Data Integration Lead Analyst is a Business aligned position in Citi’s Enterprise Data Office (EDO) within the Technology & Business Enablement organization. The EDO is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The EDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management.

This is a Vice President role within the EDO Markets and Client Data Lead group. This role partners with a range of stakeholders, including senior management, and engages in cross-functional collaboration to achieve Data Governance outcomes by supporting Data Domains and associated Article v Consent Order Use Cases.  The position will primarily interface to the Markets Business, coordinating data related requirements and execution and partnering with Technology and Global Functions (Finance, Risk, Operations and Compliance). The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise are required.

What you will be doing

  • Establish business and data requirements that align with commitments to external regulators working across different businesses, functions and teams

  • Deliver and maintain a cohesive front-to-back project plan and artefacts among varied stakeholders (e.g., front office, operations, technology, etc.)

  • Liaise between the Enterprise Data Office and other key partners in the Functions and Lines of Business to progress the Data Transformation agenda

  • Deliver within work streams focusing on a broad range of Data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, and taxonomy

  • Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as required

  • Prepare and report progress to working groups, steering committees, and executives to ensure delivery of reg commitments

  • Manage ad-hoc requests, upcoming projects, status preparation and communications

  • Identify stakeholders and key organizations to build and manage relationships with

  • Gather, synthesize and distill detailed information to deliver crisp and succinct executive level communications to working groups, steering committees, and executives to ensure delivery of reg commitments

What we need from you

  • Relevant experience of defining and implementing Business Transformations or Data projects in a global bank or consulting firm

  • Experience with Capital Markets products (Equity / Fixed Income), with understanding of operations, support and control areas preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through direct and matrix reporting lines

  • Experience of Data Domains and Data management (Lineage, ADS, Master Data, Controls (Data Quality), Insights)

  • Business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities

  • Proven successful track record of navigating operations and technology organizations, effective communication to senior leadership and driving results across global organizations

  • Effective communication delivering a clear understanding to different audiences; able to drive consensus and influence relationships at all levels

  • Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Ability to give focused attention to details and deliver high quality work while managing competing priorities under pressure

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data or information management related discipline preferred or equivalent experience in related field
