This role plays a critical part in Wolfspeed's mission to scale world-class silicon carbide technology safely, reliably, and sustainably. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the monthly financial close process, maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and providing key financial information to support business decision-making and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules, with a focus on areas including cash, warranties, leases, prepayments, and accruals.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate variances, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Support the preparation of internal financial reporting, statutory accounts, and audit requirements, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is maintained.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to support compliance with accounting policies, controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and control environments, while contributing to finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • 2-3 years' experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP, and experience preparing financial reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial systems and automated accounting platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting statutory audits and working within a publicly traded or multinational organisation.
