As an ICQA Process Support Operative, you'll be a key part of our Inventory Control & Quality Assurance team. Your role will focus on ensuring that our inventory is both accurate and readily available, enabling us to deliver the high level of service our customers expect and love. 

This role works a 12-hour shift pattern which includes weekends and Bank holidays, and the hours are 6:00am to 18.00pm.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Performing stock counts, recording Inventory accuracy checks and other stock related tasks to ensure the integrity of Castle Donington inventory
  • Capturing data across all areas of the site to support our Inventory Control continuous improvement agenda
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency
  • Supporting inventory control processes across the site 
  • Ensuring stock accuracy and availability through daily checks and system updates 

 

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include 

  •  Knowledge and experience of working in automated warehousing and relevant systems i.e WMS & WCS with a good understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • Capable of understanding and carrying out written tasks in English, and proficient in basic numeracy skills, including accurate counting
  • Is flexible, adaptable and pays attention to detail and maintains their standard of work even when tasks are repetitive 
  • Has a positive ‘Can do approach’ and can carry out tasks using own initiative, without close direction, completing tasks on time and to required standard
  • Builds effective relationships and freely shares information, is comfortable giving feedback and raising potential issues that could impact procedures, safety or the customer experience if the need arises
