Amex GBT Consulting (200+ global consultants) operates in a constantly evolving environment, delivering high-impact, multi-disciplinary projects across travel and expense optimisation—from sourcing and category management to sustainability initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with consulting, project management, analytic and travel/air/hotel shown experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support and lead consulting engagements, working with managers or independently
- Act as a key client contact, driving communication and stakeholder alignment
- Guide clients to achieve project objectives on time and within budget
- Analyze data, identify challenges, and turn insights into actionable recommendations
- Contribute across diverse topics: sourcing, expense management, stakeholder engagement, and spend optimisation
- Develop and implement data-driven, impactful strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and storytelling
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of travel data (TMC, airlines, hotels, corporate card, expense) is highly desirable
- Collaborative, upbeat, and driven by finding effective answers
