Frequently Asked Questions

Cultural Alignment

The culture at Nexthink is rooted in trust, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose. People join because they want to make an impact — and they stay because they find a team that’s as supportive as it is ambitious. It’s a place where curiosity is valued, where ideas are heard no matter your title, and where success is celebrated collectively.

Team Dynamics & Collaboration

Collaboration at Nexthink is truly global — it’s how we stay connected, innovate, and deliver impact together. With teams spread across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, we rely on a mix of in-person connection and virtual collaboration to keep everyone aligned and inspired.

Day to day, we work closely through Teams, Zoom, and shared digital spaces that make collaboration feel seamless, no matter the time zone. But we also make space to come together in person — through leadership off-sites, quarterly business reviews, customer events, conferences, and team gatherings in our offices. These moments help build trust, spark creativity, and strengthen the relationships that power our culture.

All-hands meetings and global company updates bring everyone into the same conversation, ensuring transparency and shared purpose.

Recognition Practices

Recognition is a big part of life at Nexthink — it’s woven into how we celebrate success, reward impact, and show appreciation for one another. Every employee has access to our global recognition platform, Bonusly, where peers and managers regularly give shoutouts for great work and collaboration in real time.

High performance and contribution are recognised in many ways — from spot bonuses to merit-based promotions. Sales teams are rewarded through commission and variable incentive programs, and outstanding achievers are celebrated at our annual President’s Club.

We also take pride in honouring our values through Core Value Awards and our nomination-based NextLeaders program, which spotlights rising talent and invests in their development. Across teams, we celebrate wins together at all-hands meetings, in-office events, and hackathons that showcase innovation and teamwork.

Recognition Practices

At Nexthink, our culture is people- and purpose-driven. We’re united by a shared mission to improve our clients' employee experience with digital tools, and that mindset shapes how we build our technology and how we work together every day.

We’re collaborative, inclusive, and trust-based. Everyone’s voice matters, ideas are encouraged, and teams work openly across functions and regions. We move fast, stay curious, and support continuous learning and growth, giving Nexthinkers the space to take ownership and make a real impact through day-to-day tasks.

We believe strong connections fuel innovation, which is why we balance flexibility with meaningful collaboration in a hybrid work environment. Beyond our work, we’re committed to acting responsibly — supporting well-being, inclusion, our communities, and the planet.

Nexthink Employee Perspectives

Tell us about Nexthink’s approach to the in-office experience.

In today’s hybrid world, employees won’t commute to an office that offers little more than what they have at home. That’s why our focus goes beyond providing just the basics. For us, the workplace is more than a place to work; it’s a place to thrive.

Our offices are thoughtfully designed to provide all teams, regardless of role, with the specific resources and spaces they need based on the nature of their work. The layout ensures employees have access to tools, environments and setups that support their tasks while being surrounded by colleagues and teams they collaborate with most. Every detail is crafted to enhance productivity and enable seamless in-person and hybrid collaboration.

Fostering community is equally important. Our offices go beyond functionality to create a sense of connection and belonging. Health and fitness activities, workshops, social lunches, after-work events and meet-ups help integrate newcomers and strengthen bonds across teams. These efforts ensure every day at the office is not just productive but something employees look forward to experiencing. Nexthink offices combine functionality, community and fun, making them places people truly want to be.

In your opinion, what about your in-office experience feels the most impactful on your daily work life?

What feels most impactful in our in-office experience is the balance between having everything I need to perform my job efficiently and the opportunities for connection and enjoyment. On a typical day, I can rely on seamless hybrid video call setups, dedicated spaces for focused work or team training areas that enhance productivity. At the same time, I love the chance to step away and join a yoga class, play on an arcade machine or participate in a table tennis tournament.

Stepping into the office each day and witnessing the buzz of activity is truly inspiring. Seeing colleagues spark innovative ideas in a workshop, leveraging state-of-the-art tools or catching up over a coffee is incredibly motivating and reminds me why the office is a dynamic, inspiring space that goes beyond just work.

My favorite part of the in-person experience at Nexthink is that it is an atmosphere alive with energy and purpose. Seeing our employees thrive in such an environment reminds me that here, every day, great things are happening.

Is there anything you’re looking forward to with the in-office experience?

To ensure the success and sustainability of this in-office “ecosystem” on the workplace team, we must consistently stay on top of our game. This means actively monitoring and adapting spaces to meet the evolving needs of our office population while keeping the energy of activities and events alive.

This year, we are placing a stronger emphasis on well-being. Rather than integrating well-being activities into our regular office events, we are introducing a dedicated well-being program. Beyond our weekly events, workshops and meet-ups, this program will offer weekly well-being classes, such as yoga, nutrition or physiotherapy, for employees who wish to sign up and participate regularly.

Additionally, we aim to focus on “meaningful events” by aligning our workplace strategy with collaborations that support local communities and organizations in need. By doing so, we not only nurture our in-office community but also give purpose to our events, celebrations and initiatives, creating a positive impact both within and beyond our office walls.

What stuck out to you the most about Nexthink’s culture during the hiring process, and what was it specifically that convinced you to join?

At the onset of the hiring process, I was impressed by the structure of the interviews and how the process was laid out to me from start to finish. It seemed to cover all bases, both technically and in terms of addressing soft skills. I was able to understand quite well what kind of work I would be doing and how teams were organized across the company.

The interviewers all conveyed a level of expertise and friendliness that left a very good impression on me about the kind of environment I would be working in at Nexthink. My questions about culture were answered honestly and with enough depth to make it clear to me as to what to expect. I particularly liked the openness and warmth of the people I talked to throughout the hiring process and that, for me, was the biggest reason I ended up joining.

How does the company culture encourage peers to connect with each other either virtually, in person or both?

We have at least three days per week working in the office at Nexthink. This allows for people to get to know each other on a personal level in ways which can be difficult when not sitting at a desk together, grabbing a coffee or having lunch upstairs.

Aside from that, we have lots of different events, both during and outside of work hours. Most recently, we had a tasting event in the Lausanne office, and not for the first time! We have office parties leading up to and around holidays, team events, clubs for different hobbies and social events being organized all the time. It really allows for people to bond and get to know others outside of their team and day-to-day work.

Newcomers also get to meet the full executive team and ask any questions they have, which is rare for a company of this size. It’s evidence of the kind of openness and parity across levels and employees that allows for connecting with peers and building a great workplace.

What opportunities are available for employees to level up their careers?

As employees, we are granted a level of autonomy and trust in our work that allows us to perform at our best, carry out tasks as we see fit, provided it produces the desired end result, and really grow as individual contributors. We just wrapped up our hackathon, or “Innovathon,” as it’s called at Nexthink, for 2025, where I got to work with people outside of my team and really delve into problems that I don’t always get to in my day-to-day work, which was a lot of fun and a really great learning experience.

Alongside that, we have regular Tech Talks, where employees get to share knowledge and best practices outside of their team and with the rest of the company. We can request access to learning platforms like O’Reilly and Coursera, and even attend conferences in our region with the costs paid for by Nexthink. The different career development paths are laid out clearly and communicated to employees, allowing us to set specific targets and goals along with our manager to steer our careers in the direction we’re most excited and passionate about.
