Step into the role of Workday Reporting Lead and become a driving force behind the data that powers Smart Audit’s industry-leading analytics and AI capabilities. In this position, you won’t just manage data—you’ll shape the future of how global organizations gain insight and control through Workday. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across product, engineering, and data science, transforming complex reporting needs into innovative, scalable solutions that make a real impact for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and optimise Workday reports using Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop advanced, composite, and matrix reports for HR, Payroll, and Finance modules.
Maintain reporting standards and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Provide troubleshooting and performance optimisation for existing reports.
Build relationships with key customers to understand their requirements, collaborate on report testing and coordinate PoCs.
Support team members with Workday reporting queries and deliver internal training as needed on Workday reporting functionality to foster team literacy in the Workday reporting area.
Partner with Data Science teams to help fetch the correct Workday data required to build AI features in the most performant and scalable manner.
Troubleshoot Workday reporting issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
Document technical specifications and maintain integration architecture standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields & RaaS.
Knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials modules.
Understanding of all types of calculated fields and experience in creating and maintaining complex calculated fields.
Up to date with Workday's regular updates and perform analysis on the same as required.
Experience and understanding of reporting security.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge for Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, WQL and APIs.
Workday Integration or Workday Reporting certification.
Familiarity with Prism Analytics and dashboard creation.
Understanding of XML/XSLT, SOAP, REST, and data transformation would be beneficial.
Any experience with Building AI agents and queries and working with data science teams
Knowledge of Workday’s AI offerings
