About the team

We’re a growing UX Design team focused on delivering best-in-class experiences for our customers, partners, and developers globally. We champion user-centric design and foster a culture of openness, experimentation, and continuous learning.

What you will be doing

As a Lead Product Designer, you will drive the vision and execution of our payouts experience, uncovering insight that inform product strategy, while also taking on line management responsibilities for a small team of UX researchers.

You will:

  • Influence product strategy forming strong relationships with peers in product, engineering and business development teams

  • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring our products meet real user needs and deliver measurable business value.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to align on goals and deliver exceptional experiences.

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for key initiatives, from discovery through to delivery.

  • Take ownership of UX specifications, articulating behaviours, processes, flows, journeys and information architecture using maps and diagrams

  • Manage and mentor UX researchers, supporting their growth, prioritising their work, and ensuring high-quality research practices.

  • Advocate for design excellence, accessibility, and usability across the organisation.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, using prototypes and testing to validate ideas and iterate quickly.

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of UX/Product Design experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on UX research experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others.

  • Experience in B2B environments and complex systems.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to influence at all levels.

  • Demonstrated success in improving business metrics through design.

  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Miro, and other design/research tools.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Background in payments or financial products.

  • Experience designing for cross-platform environments (Web, iOS, Android).

  • Familiarity with product management and systems thinking.

  • Passion for human psychology and behavioural design.

  • Experience scaling design and research practices in large organisations.

  • Experience of evangelising and instilling UX thinking within a large organisation
