Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Strategy Manager, Go-To-Market to join our ever evolving Strategy team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team

As a Strategy Manager in Worldpay's Enterprise Commercialization Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's global growth by commercializing strategic initiatives and supporting our global product propositions. This position will be focused on scaling Worldpay’s Optimisation products.

 

You will work at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial acumen to enable Worldpay's sales teams to effectively sell new products in new markets. This position requires a strong understanding of the payment industry and regional nuances. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, running strategic initiatives, supporting successful product launches and ongoing monetisation of our optimisation products.

 

What you will be doing

  • Identify market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making, and evaluate potential demand for Worldpay's offerings across regions and verticals.
  • Enable the sales team to effectively sell optimisation solutions by developing sales collateral, training materials, and product documentation tailored to specific products.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team on new products, features, and market-specific considerations.
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and prioritize product features to drive growth.
  • Represent Worldpay at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote the company's global presence.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, science, engineering, finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Proven experience with at least 2 or more years in a similar role
  • Understanding of the payments landscape
  • Technical proficiency and ability to understand complex technical concepts and product functionalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical and commercial considerations when making strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
