Purpose of the Role
Kick-start your accounting career with our Fund Services team. As a Trainee Fund Accountant, you'll gain hands-on experience in fund accounting, financial reporting and client servicing while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable technical skills, work towards a professional qualification and build a long-term career in financial services.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of fund accounts, financial reports and client deliverables.
- Gain practical experience in bookkeeping, transaction processing and financial record management.
- Work with clients, auditors and other professional advisers to support reporting deadlines.
- Learn about accounting standards, regulatory requirements and fund structures.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues while building your technical knowledge and professional skills.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Experience
- This is an entry level role which would suit a recent graduate in a relevant subject or someone with relevant work experience:
- A good grounding in accounting skills, eg from an Accounting or Finance related degree and relevant experience.
- Good presentational, written and verbal communication skills
- Solid Excel, Word and general IT skills
