What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of quality within the project team, advocating for robust, testable, and stable software
- Design, implement, and maintain both manual and automated test scenarios, frameworks, and tools
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans
- Execute manual and automated test suites, and perform exploratory and non-functional testing
- Develop and extend test automation frameworks using Appium, and Typescript
- Ensure high-quality reporting on test results, coverage, and defects
- Test web applications and APIs using tools such as Postman and RestSharp
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall development quality
- Collaborate with developers in maintaining high unit testing standards
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience in automated test development with Typescript
- Previous Experience in mobile app automated testing (Appium highly desirable)
- Proficiency with test tools such as MS Test, or XUnit
- Deep understanding of test-driven development and full-stack test automation
- Hands-on experience testing web applications and REST APIs
- Familiarity with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL database testing
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
- (Desirable) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Azure environments
- A proactive mindset and passion for delivering high-quality software in a collaborative environment
What We Offer:
- A base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and bonus depending on experience
- Modern town centre offices in Belfast, with opportunity for ad hoc home working
- 25 days holiday, increasing with service
