Position & Assignment Purpose :
We are seeking a Technical Writer to expand and refine our extensive documentation. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams responsible for Yocto-based Linux and application development, ensuring that technical content is clear, accurate to internal and external customers.
Key Accountabilities/ Statement of Work :
- Develop and maintain Markdown-based documentation for Yocto-based firmware and applications.
- Collaborate with engineers to gather technical details and convert them into user-friendly content.
- Develop documentation templates for various documentation types.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with existing NSP (application-level) documentation.
- Create diagrams, architecture overviews, and workflow descriptions to support technical understanding.
- Review and edit documentation for clarity, completeness, and technical accuracy.
- Maintain version control and documentation structure in sync with software releases.
Required Education and Experience :
- Proven experience in technical writing for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive or telecom domain.
- Understanding of Linux.
- Proficiency in Markdown, and documentation generation workflows.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automotive software standards.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation automation.
