Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months

Job Profile description 

The Talent Acquisition (TA) team at Kainos is integral to the success of our organisation, playing a strategic role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining exceptional talent. Beyond meeting immediate hiring needs, the team focuses on building a pipeline of high-calibre candidates to meet both current and future organisational goals. 

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll collaborate with TA colleagues to support the end-to-end recruitment process, championing a first-class candidate experience and acting as a brand ambassador for Kainos both internally and externally. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Delivering Hiring Plans: Work alongside TA team members to achieve recruitment targets within agreed timelines. This includes managing interview and assessment schedules with precision to optimise the time of candidates, interviewers, and assessors. Proactively identify potential challenges and escalate as needed to the management team. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture effective relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring open, consistent communication to drive successful outcomes 

  • Data Management and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems and platforms, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards. Leverage data insights to inform recruitment strategies and enhance overall performance. 

  • Creating a Positive Experience: Champion an excellent recruitment journey for candidates and hiring managers by seeking feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement. Strive to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for all involved 

  • Attraction and Branding : Actively promote Kainos as an employer of choice through online presence, events, and internal engagement activities. Support employer branding initiatives to enhance visibility and attract top talent. 

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to projects that drive efficiency and best practices within the Talent Acquisition team. 

 

 

Minimum (Essential) Requirements 

  • Experience in a professional environment with a collaborative, approachable working style and strong customer-facing skills. 

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and minimal supervision. 

  • Experience maintaining compliance with policies and processes while delivering high-quality outcomes. 

  • Proven ability to gather, analyse, and present data in a way that supports decision-making and aligns with audience needs. 

  • A proactive mindset to identify and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. 

Desirable Skills and Experience 

  • Previous experience within a Talent acquisition or wider People function. 

  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Workday, Office 365, or similar.
