  • Coordinate Stock Requirements: Work with Sales and Customer Service to consolidate stock needs, using both historical data and future forecasts.

  • Provide Accurate Costings: Partner with Customs personnel to calculate true landed costs, enabling Sales to price customers accurately.

  • Supplier & Logistics Liaison: Communicate with suppliers and hauliers to ensure timely stock deliveries that meet customer demand.

  • Manage Information Flow: Keep all relevant internal and external stakeholders up to date with ‘live’ information on stock levels and goods in transit.

  • Control Inventory: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure business KPIs are achieved.

  • Maintain Documentation: Keep all supply chain and shipment records accurate, up to date, and compliant.

  • Support Customer Service: Help manage customer expectations through effective communication and strong OTIF performance.

Your Profile

This position is ideal for an energetic, communicative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Education: Minimum GCSE or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a busy supply chain, logistics, or administrative environment.

  • Personality: Outgoing, communicative, confident, and comfortable engaging with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

  • Skills: Excellent multitasking abilities, flexible and proactive problem-solver.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; enjoys speaking with people and building relationships.

  • Organisation: Detail-oriented with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.

  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP or stock management system experience is a plus.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
