At Genesys, the Partner Sales organization drives key relationships with resellers & distributors, as well as hyperscales and system integrators. In this role, your mission is to provide analytics, insights, and sales operations support to drive effective partnerships, scaling of reach, and productivity improvements for Genesys partners and the Partner Sales team. You will have a regional scope.

As EMEA Partner Sales Operations Sr Manager, you will be a member of the EMEA Operations team, reporting to the Senior Director EMEA Sales Operations.

Main Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an effective business partner

    • Act as an adviser to the regional VP Partner Sales and function as a proxy when needed

    • Proactively assess Partner go-to-market coverage and performance and identify, evaluate and resolve fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction

    • Represent region in global business planning, sales compensation strategy, and coverage discussions

    • Act as a regional leader and liaison to functions supporting sub-regional VP, including Finance, HR, Marketing, and Product teams

  • Drive Partner Sales Excellence

    • Work with the Sales and Partner Operations Director to define best practices and operating cadence for forecasting, pipeline management, CRM, deal reviews and account planning to facilitate interlock and alignment between partners and sales teams.

    • Develop standardized and globally consistent KPIs, performance benchmarks, and diagnostic analytics via dashboards to measure partner business success. 

    • Develop data driven insights for presentations e.g. QBR, Weekly Operations Meetings, etc. 

    • Triage compensation and accounts queries, work with regional partner sales leaders and compensation team to manage and resolve. 

    • Track Performance: Interlock with regional partner sales leaders to implement operating cadence that drives expected business outcomes with the partner ecosystem. Enable partner teams on actionable dashboards for targeting, performance, and partner activities.

Measures for Success:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide data-oriented insights and conceptual thinking to support strategic and executive decisions to achieve business results. Execution of consistent operating cadence, including forecasting, QBRs, and executive bi-weekly meetings. 

  • Ensures advancement of the transformation of partner ecosystem through clear & consistent Rules of Engagement and operating processes that create synergy and clarity.

You have been there and done this...

  • 7+ years' experience in partner sales operations at a global Cloud or SaaS company working directly with senior sales leadership. 

  • Ability to drive change with different partners teams working collaboratively and through others to achieve goals. 

  • Proven ability to problem solves and manage complexity to achieve clarity and actionable outcomes in alignment with business goals. 

  • Proven track record of effectively interacting and influencing with senior leadership and other stakeholders while maintaining strong and productive working relationships. 

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. 

  • MBA or equivalent required; quantitative bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Be collaborative, innovative, and a team player
