- Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren - GM Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
Ultium Cells FP&A is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and organized individual with strong analytical framework and technical skills for financial modeling. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity, and initiative. This position offers the opportunities to build relationships with cross functional teams across GM, LGES, and Ultium Cells.
What You'll Do -
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- The role will work with cross functions and build the Financial Model for a balanced business case of LFP and LMR Battery Cell execution in Ultium Cells Tennessee
- Lead thoughtful, timely month-end reporting and financial analysis
- Lead the annual budget and LTP development for Ultium Cells Tennessee
- Perform cost variance analyses in key indicators (forecast vs. actual). Be able to clearly tell the story of what and why it happened
- This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or related areas
- 3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis, product costing or relevant experience
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, or reporting skills
- Familiarity with accounting principles
- Break work-in-silo mentality
- Ability for Time, Quantity, Quality trade-off management
- Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in GM, LGES, and Ultium Cells
- Ability to travel to 10% to Ultium Cells Tennessee Plant
