About this opportunity
We are now looking for a BSS Solution Architect with primary competence in Charging Solutions to drive complex customer engagements and transformation programs in the Monetization/BSS domain. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end solution design for Ericsson Charging (EC) and Digital Monetization Platform (DMP)-based solutions and work closely with customers and delivery organizations to secure high-quality, cost-efficient solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
What you will do

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for BSS Charging solutions (online/offline charging, convergent charging, policy, and billing) based on Ericsson Charging Solutions.
• Translate customer business and marketing requirements into E2E solution designs, HLDs and LLDs covering Charging, Customer/Party Management, Product Catalog, and Order Management, and see it through until customer acceptance.
• Own the definition of interfaces and integration patterns between Charging/BSS and surrounding systems (Core Network, IMS, PCRF/PCF, DMP, CRM, Mediation, Payment, DWH/BI, Partner systems).
• Ensure solutions follow Ericsson guidelines, 3GPP standards and customer architecture principles.
• Design Native and cloud-based deployment architectures, including capacity, availability, resilience, security and observability.
• Lead and participate in customer workshops, requirement clarification, use case elaboration and solution validation.
• Support presales activities, including technical scope definition, BoQ/effort estimation, solution description in proposals and SoW inputs.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams during implementation, testing and acceptance, and support troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Contribute to competence development by sharing best practices, mentoring, and supporting internal trainings.

You will bring

• BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Years of experience : 9 years of relevant experience in the BSS/Telecom domain, a minimum of 5-7 years as a Solution Architect in BSS/Charging.
• Experience in designing and documenting E2E solutions, including functional requirements, integration contracts and non-functional requirements (performance, capacity, resilience, security).
• Strong hands-on expertise in Online Charging Solutions, preferably Ericsson Charging, and real-time charging use cases across voice, data, digital services, bundles, promotions, and notifications for both B2C and B2B.
• Solid understanding of 3GPP charging and policy standards (Gy/Ro/Sy, 5G SBI) and familiarity with TM Forum SID, eTOM and key Open APIs.
• Solid experience in integration patterns and protocols, including REST/HTTP & JSON, API Gateway and security concepts, SFTP/file-based flows.
• Experience in designing and delivering BSS/Charging solutions on cloud-native platforms with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, resources, troubleshooting) across major distributions (OpenShift, Tanzu, EKS, AKS, GKE or similar).
• Understanding of non-functional aspects of BSS applications (metrics, logs, tracing, health checks) and the ability to design highly available, resilient, DR-ready topologies (multi-site, active/active or active/standby).
• Strong product and offer modelling skills: CF/ RF services, bundles, add-ons, discounts, lifecycle & validity, subscription activation, balance & quota management, billing/usage aggregation, and B2C/B2B customer hierarchies.
• Understanding of security and privacy aspects in BSS (data protection, access control, encryption, vulnerabilities management).
• Relevant certifications in cloud, Kubernetes or TM Forum are an advantage.
