We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Software Engineer II (PHP) to work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, Support and Product. You are a leader that will participate in senior technology strategy discussions, drive ideation across a distributed software team, develop implementation roadmaps and work with technical individuals to transform this into software products and solutions.

What you’ll do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications using PHP and Go.

Create, modify, and extend E-Commerce platform functionalities, apps, or themes as needed.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and other engineering squads, to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and maintain a high standard of code quality.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with PHP development.
Strong understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.

What will make you stand out:

Experience in developing and/or customizing Shopify stores or apps.
Familiarity with Shopify’s API and Liquid templating language.
Understanding of eCommerce principles and a passion for building user-friendly solutions.
Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React) is a plus.
