This role will collaborate closely across Nike Origin Operations, the nominated logistics service providers (LSPs) and factories at origin level for day-to-day operational execution and monitoring. This role will work on operational execution and issue resolution, monitor key ocean origin operations milestones, partner with Nike Origin Operations to drive continuous improvement across assigned origins. This role will report to Manager, Ocean Operations (based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThe ideal candidate for the position of Analyst II, Ocean Operations, to be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, will possess the following key attributes:
Holds a bachelor’s degree and brings a minimum 3 to 5 years of operational execution experience in ocean origin operations.
Have the knowledge of ocean origin operations execution which includes ocean capacity management, equipment available, carrier forecasting, carrier booking and carrier documentation.
Is familiar with origin operations and transportation management platforms, such as TMS and track and trace systems.
Possesses good communication and data analytical skills to assist in process control and reporting.
You will be part of Origin Operations Control Tower team for delivering reliable and consistent ocean origin operations across origins to all Geographies (GEOs), ensuring shipments move seamlessly across Nike supply chain according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Service Level Agreement (SLA). Your key responsibilities include and not limited to:
Track daily origin operations milestone related to ocean origin operations with factories and Nike appointed logistics service providers for assigned origins.
Identify delays, missing information and process gaps, and promptly raise exceptions to relevant teams for resolution.
Support recovery actions by coordinating with factories, ocean carriers, origin consolidators and internal teams.
Maintain timely and accurate updates in Nike iTMS, visibility platforms and control tower dashboards.
Support preparation of daily and/or weekly operational reports.
