About Posh

We are all social creatures, but the dominant “social” companies today have evolved into digital loneliness machines, driving isolation, anxiety, and mental health challenges around the world.

Human connection is lost. Posh is a beacon guiding us back.

Posh enables anyone to build an IRL community based on shared interests, while connecting consumers with the communities of people just like them. Founded by event organizers who were frustrated with the growing loneliness epidemic and the tools available to build their own event brand, we’ve built the ultimate platform for launching, monetizing, and finding IRL communities of people just like you. In just 6 years, Posh has grown to a team of 70, expanded to 10M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $400M in transactions.

About the Role

This is a sales team, we call it Partnerships, but this team acquires the organizers who bring new events, and new GMV, onto the platform. As an SMB Account Executive, you own the full sales cycle: sourcing, demoing, closing, and getting an organizer's first event live and collecting its first dollar. We call it Partnerships because we're not just closing a deal and moving on, we're looking to genuinely support organizers as they grow. Success is measured in two numbers: organizers activated, and GMV grown underneath them. You'll focus on SMB organizers where speed, volume, and sharp qualification matter as much as relationship-building.

This role reports to our Head of Sales and sits on the Partnerships team. It is strictly in-person, 5 days a week, at our SoHo, NYC headquarters, with roughly 10% travel to industry events, conclaves, and customers.

You're joining at a pivotal moment for Posh's go-to-market motion - the strategy, playbooks, and standards you help set now will define how we build a world-class Partnerships org as we scale.

What You'll Learn & Achieve
  • Source and close new organizers across nightlife, festivals, and live events, end-to-end

  • Build a pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, networking events, and referrals

  • Run live product demos and negotiate contract terms that work for both sides

  • Forecast deal stage, probability, and timeline with rigor - this drives how we plan the business

  • Coordinate handoffs with Customer Success and Account Management so nothing gets lost after close

  • Bring client feedback back to Product and Marketing to shape the roadmap

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets

Who You Are

We’re looking for driven, full cycle closers who can move fast without cutting corners

  • You believe in the importance of real-world human connection and are passionate about our mission to help the world connect more meaningfully in real life

  • You have 2+ years of sales or prospecting experience, with a track record of top performance

  • You have proven success running outbound and closing high-velocity deal cycles

  • You have strong negotiation and contract experience

  • You are comfortable managing a pipeline with rigor - CRM fluency (HubSpot/Salesforce) required

  • You have Excellent presentation skills; can run a live demo that converts

  • You have a "win as a team" mentality

Nice to Haves
  • Experience in the live events, entertainment, or ticketing

  • Background scaling a community, professionally or as a passion project

  • Startup experience

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
