Shape the future of the Internet

As a TSA (specialist presales solutions engineer), you'll define Akamai Cloud/Linode solutions during the sales lifecycle. You'll guide customers through strategic and technical Cloud transformation decisions while driving Linode service adoption. You'll serve as a thought-leader in cloud computing within and outside of Akamai.

As a Senior II Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Driving Linode opportunities forward by owning the technical sales cycle.
• Owning customer success and support account growth.
• Collaborating closely with sales, product teams, services, and partners.
• Leading innovation in solutions and products, identify and promote trends, and influence the global product roadmap.
• Building technical expertise and thought-leadership in Akamai Cloud/Linode to support Akamai's overall business growth.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess extensive professional customer-facing experience in technical roles with cloud-related organizations.
• Demonstrate successful experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers.
• Hold professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in in 3 more domains across Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming or mediastreaming tech stacks.
• Demonstrate experience and hands-on skills in open-source software like Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.
• Communicate complex technical content effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse technical and business audiences.
