Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote

Position Overview:  As a Product Manager at Biller Genie, you will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI-native products. You will be responsible for leading a core team of engineers to build amazing products that serve thousands of businesses, owning a set of key customer and & business problems. You will drive the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution for your domain to meet ambitious company goals.

We’re looking for someone who is energized by ambiguity, deeply curious about the frontier of AI, and passionate about building products that elegantly balance technical depth with intuitive user experiences. You’ll need to be both hands-on with prototyping and comfortable translating complex systems into clear, human-centered solutions.

About Us:  Recently ranked #482 on the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States, Biller Genie is an award-winning B2B SaaS platform that helps businesses get paid faster. We are expanding our presence to Belfast to tap into the region's vibrant tech talent. Google "Biller Genie" to learn more about our company.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a Biller Genie product domain
  • Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers, balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision making
  • Marry customer insights with technical possibilities, crafting intuitive user experiences that abstract away complexity
  • Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude Code to accelerate the product development lifecycle and fast-forward to production-ready products.
  • Stay deeply plugged into AI research, industry trends, and emergent applications, filtering signal from noise and applying it creatively to Biller Genie’s product
  • Contribute to the evolution of Biller Genie’s product management practices as we scale AI across our platform.

Essential Criteria:

  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field
  • Minimum 5 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience.
  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking
  • Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools.
  • Fluency in data and experimentation, and understanding when the answer cannot be found in the data
  • Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and agency.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences, synthesizing complex systems into compelling narratives.
  • Strong written communication — specs are your primary work product; clarity and precision matter more than in most PM roles
  • Sharp prioritization instincts — ability to decompose large features into well-scoped, independently shippable units
  • Deep customer empathy and discovery skills — agents can build anything; your job is to ensure we build the right things
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast iteration — agentic workflows move quickly; you need to make good-enough decisions fast

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Sage and other key SMB accounting platforms
  • Fluency with core LLM concepts and systems, such as prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation, and the judgment to translate these into reliable, user-facing products.
  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.
  • Experience building AI products
  • Experience in high-growth startups
What We Offer:
  • Private health insurance
  • Group life death benefit
  • Auto-enrolment pension with employer contributions increased to 5%
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • 10 statutory/bank holidays per year
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development into Salesforce development
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment

Our Mission: To provide an automated A/R platform that seamlessly integrates existing business processes for the SMB market.

Our Core Values:

Get Shit Done Right - We work hard and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time, every time.
Own it - We are subject matter experts who know what we know, and we are confident enough to speak up when we see something wrong.
Catch Up - We are high performers and love a fast-paced environment.
Believe in the Genie - We are passionate about where we are going as a team, and we show we care.
Class Shines - We are articulate professionals who carry ourselves well and speak with purpose.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
