Senior Paid Social Manager

Function: Paid Social | Meta & TikTok Advertising | Performance Marketing
Reports to: Senior Paid Social Manager
Core Responsibility: Deliver profitable growth for DTC brands through effective paid social campaign execution, optimisation, and performance analysis across Meta and TikTok.
KPIs: ROAS, CAC, MER, Spend Efficiency, Client Retention
Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 DOE
Location: Remote-first (UK-based), with optional access to our London office (The Roundhouse, Camden)

The Role

As a Senior Paid Social Manager, you’ll own strategy and performance across a portfolio of DTC e-commerce brands.

You’ll work directly with founders and senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, improve account performance, and drive client retention.

You’ll also mentor Paid Social Managers, helping elevate execution standards across the business.

Requirements

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Take ownership of strategy and performance across a portfolio of DTC e-commerce brands, ensuring activity remains aligned with client objectives, commercial targets, and growth plans. You will be responsible for translating business goals into actionable paid social strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Lead account planning by identifying opportunities to improve customer acquisition, increase efficiency, and scale profitable growth. You will regularly review account performance and proactively recommend new initiatives that support long-term success.
  • Develop and oversee testing roadmaps across audiences, creative, offers, landing pages, and campaign structures, ensuring accounts continue to evolve and improve over time.
  • Work closely with Growth Executives to ensure strategic recommendations are implemented effectively and that account activity remains aligned with wider business objectives.

Performance Analysis & Growth

  • Analyse performance across Meta, TikTok, Triple Whale, Shopify, and reporting platforms to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern. You will use data to make informed decisions and guide account strategy.
  • Monitor key growth metrics including ROAS, CAC, MER, NC-ROAS, and customer acquisition efficiency, ensuring accounts remain on track to achieve performance targets.
  • Identify underperforming areas quickly and develop recovery plans that address performance issues while maintaining client confidence.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve account performance through testing, optimisation, and strategic recommendations that contribute to sustainable growth.

Creative Performance Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Creative Strategists to ensure creative output is aligned with account objectives and informed by performance data.
  • Provide strategic feedback on messaging, hooks, formats, offers, and content themes, helping shape creative testing priorities and future campaigns.
  • Use consumer insights and campaign learnings to influence creative direction and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition performance.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creative developments, and emerging opportunities across Meta and TikTok, ensuring clients benefit from innovative approaches.

Client Leadership

  • Act as the primary day-to-day strategic contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships through trust, reliability, and consistent performance.
  • Lead performance reviews, planning sessions, and strategy discussions with confidence, helping clients understand both short-term results and long-term opportunities.
  • Present recommendations clearly and commercially, ensuring clients understand the rationale behind decisions and the impact on business growth.
  • Drive client retention by delivering exceptional service, maintaining strong communication, and consistently demonstrating value.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Support the development of Paid Social Managers through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing, helping raise standards across the team.
  • Review work produced by junior team members and provide constructive feedback that improves execution quality and performance outcomes.
  • Share insights, successful tests, and best practices with the wider team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Contribute to onboarding, training initiatives, and internal process development that improve operational efficiency and team capability.
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of paid social experience within an agency or DTC e-commerce environment, with a proven track record of scaling brands through Meta and TikTok advertising.
  • Advanced understanding of paid social strategy, customer acquisition, creative testing methodologies, and full-funnel growth planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing performance to wider business objectives and growth outcomes.
  • Proven experience developing account strategies that improve customer acquisition efficiency, increase revenue, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, with confidence using Triple Whale, Shopify, GA4, Meta, and TikTok reporting environments to identify opportunities and solve performance challenges.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead strategy discussions, performance reviews, and planning sessions.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of junior team members, helping elevate performance across the wider team.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership of performance outcomes.

  • During your first three months, you will become fully embedded within your client portfolio and establish yourself as a trusted strategic partner for both clients and internal teams.
  • You will develop a thorough understanding of client objectives, account performance, and growth opportunities, while confidently leading strategic discussions and performance reviews.
  • By the end of this period, you will be taking ownership of account strategy, contributing proactively to growth planning, and demonstrating strong leadership within your pod.
6 Months
  • By six months, you will be driving measurable improvements across account performance, client retention, and commercial outcomes.
  • You will be recognised for your ability to identify growth opportunities, solve complex performance challenges, and provide strategic recommendations that influence client decision-making.
  • You will also be actively supporting the development of Paid Social Managers, helping improve both individual performance and overall team capability.
12 Months
  • By twelve months, you will be recognised as a strategic leader within the business, consistently delivering growth across your portfolio while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
  • You will be leading high-value client engagements, mentoring team members with confidence, and contributing to wider agency initiatives that improve delivery, performance, and operational excellence.
  • You will have demonstrated the commercial awareness, leadership skills, and strategic thinking required to progress into a Growth Executive role.
