Help make the world more hospitable

The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences.

You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building.

If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here.

About the role

Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Lifecycle marketing is the heart of our organisation. This role exists to bring the experience, conviction, and execution that turns a functioning email program into a genuine growth engine. You will be the senior voice on a flat, high-ownership team with the scope to rebuild acquisition nurture flows, define segmentation strategy, and put your name on what lifecycle at Mews becomes.

This is not a role where you inherit a mature program and optimise at the edges. The current lifecycle setup is functional but underperforming — the segmentation, testing process, and strategic conviction that drive real funnel growth are not yet in place. You will build them. You will also operate in an AI-first environment where the expectation is not just that you use AI tools, but that you build automation that makes the team faster and removes manual work from the workflow.

What you would do
  • Audit, rebuild, and execute lifecycle email programs across acquisition, activation, and expansion stages — owning strategy and hands-on delivery
  • Define segmentation strategy by lifecycle stage, ICP, region, and intent — and own the execution end to end
  • Establish baseline KPIs and a systematic testing process; make data-backed growth bets and communicate them to senior stakeholders
  • Build AI-powered automation to accelerate reporting, campaign QA, and workflow efficiency
  • Align lifecycle messaging cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Regional teams
  • Bring strategic conviction — experience-backed points of view on what will drive growth, not just execution of existing plans
What you would bring
  • End-to-end lifecycle ownership in B2B SaaS — strategy and hands-on execution, not one without the other
  • A track record of building lifecycle programs at a scale-up, not just inheriting mature infrastructure from a large enterprise
  • Demonstrated conviction: the ability to put a stake in the ground, back it with data, and communicate it to management
  • Modern ESP or CRM proficiency — HubSpot, Iterable, or Marketo; must be able to operate HubSpot effectively
  • Equal comfort with data interpretation and creative strategic judgment — you read funnel metrics and make a call, not just a list of options
  • You have gone beyond using AI for personal productivity: you have built automation and workflows your team relies on, and you are thoughtful about what you delegate to AI and what requires your own judgment
  • Strong cross-functional communication — you share insights in ways other teams can act on, not just internal updates
Nice to have
  • Background in B2B vertical SaaS — hospitality, food and beverage, wellness, or retail tech
  • Experience owning lifecycle as a team of one to three people
  • HubSpot proficiency specifically
  • Experience building AI-powered reporting or workflow automation for a marketing team

Life at Mews

We’re an equal opportunities employer. We value teams that reflect the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. Different perspectives make better ideas, stronger products and a more welcoming company.

We also believe transparency is important when deciding if you're the right fit. Mews is an ambitious, high-pressure environment of continuous learning and high standards. Success here requires resilience, adaptability and a willingness to solve difficult problems.

A few things that define how we work:

  • High autonomy means high responsibility. People are expected to take ownership and drive outcomes. There isn’t a detailed playbook for everything, and that’s part of what makes the work challenging – and rewarding.
  • Change is constant. We’re growing quickly and adapting as we scale. Teams, processes and priorities continue to evolve, and only people who stay curious and agile will thrive.
  • We’re remote-first, not relationship-free. Flexibility is core to how we work, but strong relationships still matter. Our teams are global, so we need expert collaborators and communicators to help us move forward together.
  • AI is an integral part of our processes. It’s not here to steal people’s jobs, but to amplify efficiency and productivity. We’re motivated to proactively use the technology to seek out better ways of working and share our findings with the rest of the company.

If there's anything we can do to support you during the application process, let us know.

We don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability or any other protected characteristic.

One final thing: don't hold back. If you don't meet 100% of the criteria in this job description but you're certain you could make a big impact, apply. Everyone should have equal access to opportunities, and we're committed to providing an inclusive experience.

If Mews sounds like the kind of environment where you'd thrive, we'd love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
