Provides investment consulting and advice to clients, including liability projections, actuarial valuation analysis, cashflow projections, asset-liability modeling, investment manager research, trustee training, and client presentations. Leads investment advice delivery, business development, management reporting, and new business pitches while training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews for junior team members.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior DC Investment Consultant to join our Investment Consulting area. This is a permanent, full-time role that can be based in any of our UK offices, working on a hybrid basis.
A snapshot of your day:
- Drafting and issuing investment advice to clients
- Presenting advice to clients at meetings
- Developing market relationships to understand areas of DC fund manager and product innovation
- Liaising with teams researching DC providers’ off-the-shelf default investment strategy
- Liaising with teams carrying out calculations and modelling to support the framing of investment advice
- Assisting with new business pitches and developing investment consulting opportunities with existing clients
- Training and developing junior members of the team
- Undertaking Personal Development Reviews for junior members of the team and carrying out performance coaching
- Liaising with and providing training to members of other Business Areas
- Providing Trustee training
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Qualified Actuary or CFA Charterholder and comply with CPD regime
Successfully completed and been signed off from the firm’s Field Based Training programme
IT skills to perform all aspects of work efficiently.
Developed presentation skills to a larger audience, and able to host meetings.
