- Identifying opportunities to make best use of the ever-expanding platform features
- Balancing the benefits and risks of customisation
- Recommending the best approach to support client needs
- Helping to deliver discovery workshops, creating functional designs, configuring solutions, supporting testing, assisting with data migration needs, delivering training, and supporting implementation.
- Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform Products: Indepth knowledge with at least 2 of the following Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform products: Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Field Service, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
- AI features within Microsoft Dynamics CE and Power Platform Products: Understand the available AI features within the product set. Understand how those features could be utilised to deliver benefits to business users and their customers.
- Familiarity with Related Technologies: Understand the use and benefits of combining related Microsoft products, such as Exchange, SharePoint and Teams, with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, able to configure integrations to those products.
- End-to-End Implementation Experience: Experience, especially in projects of medium to high size and/or complexity, in multiple Dynamics 365 CE or Power Platform end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, data migration, cutover, and reporting.
- Solution Design Influence: Ability to create and influence solution designs with a configuration-first approach, only using customisation where essential to minimise implementation and maintenance risks and costs. Able to propose options for changes to a solution or business process to avoid customisation.
- Demonstration of Out-of-the-Box Functionality: Able to demonstrate out-of-the-box functionality, for the products you specialise in, to business and technical stakeholders, illustrating how the product supports core business processes.
- Workflow Design and Implementation: Proficiency in designing and building classic and Power Automate workflows to automate medium complexity tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Experience working with stakeholders at all levels in an organisation, understanding their pain points, eliciting, reviewing, and prioritising requirements using various methods, including, interviewing stakeholders, shadowing users, delivering discovery workshops, business process mapping, and identifying business benefits. Excellent and effective influencing and communication skills, knowing how to recognise and gain assistance when faced with challenging stakeholders.
- Teach others how to convert business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Willingness to seek answers through your own research before asking others, share knowledge from previous experiences and mitigated risk to deliver a positive outcome.
- Willingness to collaborate with and support colleagues, sharing your experience and ideas with peers, confident of when to seek assistance and flag issues in a timely manner, rather than waiting to be asked or a situation worsening.
- Familiarity with using DevOps for managing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks, and suggesting appropriate ways to use DevOps to reflect progress in Sprints. Able to deliver an output to a defined level of quality within an agreed timeframe.
- To be approachable in accepting guidance and advice to help you manage your workload effectively and cope with challenging situations. To recognise when you are being asked to take on too much and how to flag that you have concerns, or if you are uncomfortable with your working environment or colleagues, especially when working remotely or in a client-facing situation.
- To be willing to work to agreed standards of behaviour, speed and quality of delivery that reflect your level of experience, including how we treat each other and our customers
