The Senior Community Manager will engage with the Avakin Life community, analyze player sentiment, deliver reports, and drive community strategies across social channels.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Community Manager to join our Player Experience team and help shape the voice of our community. If you thrive in fast-paced social environments and have experience managing large gaming communities, we’d love to meet you!
Our ideal candidate is a confident communicator- on camera and with excellent written skills, who truly understands the power of a passionate, positive community in bringing a virtual world to life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with the well-established Avakin Life community using various social channels with a focus on Instagram, Discord, Twitch and YouTube
- Be the voice of the players. Monitor and analyse player sentiment across all active Avakin Life social channels. Track trends in updates, events, monetization, bugs, and feature requests, spotting common frustrations, player requests, and changes in how the community feels about the game.
- Deliver concise, actionable reports to inform Product, Live Ops, Marketing, and Player Experience teams
- Being an active point of contact for key community members and responding to feedback in a timely manner
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to help design and implement a comprehensive community strategy
- Set and deliver measurable community KPIs (engagement, growth, sentiment) that support the product strategy. Track performance against targets, report insights, and adjust strategy to align community initiatives with game and live service goals.
- Craft strategic and tactical plans tailored to specific channels, driving engagement and growth across social networks and other channels as needed
- Design and execute innovative community programs to grow and provide value to the player base as well as sustain excitement and engagement
- As a Senior Community Manager, you'll play a key role in building deep, loyal relationships with our most valuable players and VIPs, fostering direct, meaningful relationships to build trust and loyalty
Requirements
Essential
- Experience and interest in content creation, YouTube and livestreaming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with large communities
- Social media management experience
- Demonstrable experience launching community initiatives
- Experience with livestreaming gaming content
- Great planning and organisational skills
- Keen interest in AI
- Native level English
Desirable
- An interest in teen/pop-culture and current trends
- An interest in simulation and/or fashion games
- Working knowledge of Airtable, Confluence, Jira or the equivalent
- Proficiency in Portuguese or other languages is a big plus
