We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery, modernization, and continuous improvement of procurement solutions with a focus on Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and vendor management processes. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable deliverables, support Agile product delivery, and ensure solutions align with organizational objectives. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid in Manila.
What You'll Do
Serve as the Senior Business Analyst supporting procurement systems, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, and vendor management processes
Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, SMEs, and IT delivery teams to define, validate, and prioritize business requirements
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, walkthroughs, and process discussions
Analyze current and future-state procurement processes to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, business rules, and improvement opportunities
Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and backlog items
Support backlog creation, prioritization, and refinement to align with business value and delivery objectives
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, release managers, and vendors to ensure successful solution delivery
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, defect triage, and release readiness activities
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating issue resolution
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, from business need through deployment and post-release validation
Develop and maintain documentation including requirements, process maps, decision logs, issue logs, and stakeholder communications
Provide functional support during design reviews, change impact assessments, training preparation, go-live activities, hypercare, and stabilization periods
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, requirement ambiguities, and stakeholder alignment challenges
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
8–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst supporting enterprise system implementations, modernization programs, or product delivery initiatives
Strong understanding of procurement processes, including:
Source-to-Pay (S2P)
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Strategic sourcing
Supplier/vendor management
Contracts management
Requisitions and purchase orders
Receiving, invoicing, and payment processes
Experience eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and validating business and functional requirements
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
Demonstrated experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
Experience supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and release activities
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
Experience with procurement or ERP platforms such as Ivalua, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, or similar solutions
Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Ownership, or Procurement
Experience supporting procurement modernization or digital transformation initiatives
Experience working within Agile product delivery environments
Knowledge of vendor management and enterprise procurement operations
Physical Demands
