About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and defining change across complex operational and technical environments. You’ll work at the centre of discovery and delivery, helping teams understand current processes, clarify requirements, and turn business needs into structured, actionable outcomes.
This role requires someone who brings clarity to ambiguity — someone who can map As-Is and To-Be processes, engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure requirements are understood, documented and traced through delivery. You will contribute to improving project foundations, strengthening governance, and supporting critical OT initiatives.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- Lead discovery activities, including requirements elicitation, process mapping and stakeholder interviews.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements and ensure traceability throughout delivery.
- Facilitate workshops to define scope, clarify priorities and resolve ambiguity.
- Produce As-Is and To-Be process maps, workflow diagrams and data flow documentation.
- Support user story creation, acceptance criteria and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, SMEs and delivery teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Identify opportunities, risks, constraints and dependencies across business processes and systems.
- Support development of test planning, UAT scenarios and readiness activities.
- Contribute to structured documentation, reporting and project governance artefacts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within regulated, technical or enterprise environments.
- Strong background in process mapping, requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience working in utilities, energy, CNI or similarly regulated sectors is highly desirable.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured documentation and user stories.
- Confident facilitator with strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Understanding of data flows, system interactions and operational processes.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, backlog refinement and acceptance criteria creation.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting test planning or UAT is beneficial.
