In this role, you’ll be working in a team that play a crucial role in aligning technology with the company’s business strategy by developing, testing, and implementing change.
This is a hybrid position, combining the best of both worlds - working from home and spending time in our Halifax or Reading office.

What does a day-to-day look like?
- Plan, execute, and report on testing using TDD, BDD, and best practices to catch defects early.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues related to testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT Principals and Leads to improve methodologies, standards, toolsets, and shift-left testing practices.
- Contribute to test documentation and ensure quality and consistency in deliverables.
- Support and guide fellow QA Test Analysts in applying best practices and governance.
- Communicate testing progress to stakeholders and stay current with industry standards and trends.
What you’ll need to succeed?
- Testing capability: Experienced in end-to-end testing, defect management, and applying modern methodologies like TDD and BDD.
- Analytical and communication skills: Strong problem-solving ability and clear documentation of both technical and non-technical information.
- Organisation and independence: Manages multiple priorities with accuracy, working autonomously and maintaining attention to detail.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Engages effectively and respectfully with stakeholders, influencing outcomes through proactive communication.
- Commitment to improvement: Receptive to feedback, dedicated to enhancing testing processes, and supporting team development.
- Professional qualifications and tools expertise: ISTQB Foundation certified (or equivalent) with hands-on experience in applying quality assurance policies and using testing tools to meet acceptance criteria.
