As a Python Software Engineer, you will contribute to our core internal libraries, which empower our partners to deliver predictive insights to airlines globally. You will work within the Skywise ecosystem, developing scalable frameworks that turn complex models into operational alerts.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and support the operation of robust Python frameworks for model onboarding and data integration.
Optimize data processing pipelines using PySpark and SQL, ensuring high availability and performance.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of engineering best practices within the team.
Optionally learn and utilize the Palantir Slate framework to build intuitive, data-driven frontend applications using HTML and JavaScript.
Your Profile:
Python Proficiency: You have 3+ years of professional experience in Python, with a strong focus on software engineering fundamentals (OOP, clean code, error handling).
High coding skills: Features development, software troubleshooting, performance optimization
Data Mindset: Experience with SQL and a basic understanding of distributed computing (e.g., Spark/PySpark) is highly valued.
Willingness to Grow: You are excited to learn new technologies, including the Palantir Foundry environment.
Optional Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Communication: Advanced English skills are essential for collaborating with our global teams.
