Department OverviewThe Noggin Product's professional services team works to implement Business Continuity, Emergency, Crisis Management, Security and Resilience solutions for our customers, and focuses on providing the best implementation experience possible. The team is responsible for deploying, configuring, and assisting the client from purchase to Go Live of their Noggin 2.0 Solutions. Working with best practice developed solution templates, clients are able to engage with the services team to configure a more customer specific solution that makes organizational adoption more easier.
Noggin Services also provides ongoing improvement options for existing customers looking to purchase and deploy additional modules and solutions, or build specific processes to make the most of their Noggin 2.0 subscription. The Noggin Professional Services team plays a critical role in ensuring deployment, adoption, and upkeep experiences on Motorola's Noggin 2.0 platform are seamless and efficient.
Job Description

The purpose of this role is to ensure customers are highly satisfied with Noggin software implementations, get the most value out of Noggin’s products and services, and continue to subscribe to Noggin’s software and ongoing professional services.

As a member of the Professional Services team this role is responsible for overall management of implementations according to the Noggin implementation methodology. This role oversees teams of 3 to 5 implementation consultants as a direct manager for those resources. 

Project Managers are responsible for all project scheduling, governance, and resourcing requirements for projects being implemented by their implementation consultants. They also serve as the lead contact for the client and are expected to be accountable for their project portfolios performance and the performance of their team in implementing the Noggin platform in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Lead customers through implementation processes, acting as the primary contract for Noggin.

  • Lead project team by setting direction and defining ways of working, managing task allocation, and ensuring the team is aligned with the project objectives.

  • Provide accurate and up to date project status information through Noggin internal systems.

  • Take a disciplined approach to scope and schedule management (on the allocated projects), ensuring that variations and additions are raised as change requests, delivering additional revenue to Noggin to cover required work and resources.

  • Identify and remediate potential problems during the implementation process. Serve as the first point of escalation for client issues during the implementation process.

  • Perform project governance and oversight including onboarding, stakeholder identification, and schedule planning. 

  • Coordinate project billable milestones and work with accounting to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.

  • Work with clients to keep them adhering to the schedule as defined, informed of their upcoming deliverables, and accountable for missed deadlines. 

  • When required liaise with Architecture and Engineering for integration support and development support during projects.

  • Ensure Project cost is optimized through efficient use of configuration consultant resources. 

  • Keep project documentation filed correctly, up to date, and organized according to Noggin guidelines.

  •  Supervise and plan weekly work allocations for Implementation Consultants and Configuration Consultants in the team.

  • Help Senior Implementation Consultants achieve 65% billable utilization, Implementation Consultants achieve 75% billable utilization and Configuration Analysts achieve 80% billable utilization.

  • Maintain a personal billable utilization of 50% or higher. 

  • Perform periodic people management responsibilities of team members including performance reviews, bonus allocation, and other managerial duties.

  • Plan team capacity, monitor team load and provide inputs into the Professional Services forecasts and allocations.

  • Identify opportunities for future phases of work, scope and pass on to the Customer Success Manager.

  • Accurately log time and achieve specified billable utilization of 50%.

  • Contributes to the business improvement initiatives within the Professional Services team.

  • Contribute to the further improvement of the methodology by identifying opportunities and sharing lessons learnt with the Professional Services team.   


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / commerce / information technology / computer science, or equivalent qualifications or experience.

  • A minimum of 7 years commercial experience in business or software analysis / SAAS or other software implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and evaluation.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing solutions for SAAS or other software implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading customer engagements for SAAS implementations.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering software implementations.

  • Eligible and willing to get Security Clearance.
