Job Description
Cloud Foundational Services, a part of Infrastructure Platforms (IP), acts as the focal point across all of JPMC's cloud capabilities. It provides the central suite of tools and APIs that manage access to public cloud capabilities in a secure and compliant manner, defines the developer experience to bind cloud resources into a coherent ecosystem and, in partnership with both Enterprise Technology Product Lines and Lines of Business, drives the adoption and best practices for the implementation of cloud capabilities.

You'll collaborate with your teammates to drive these projects and programs from initiation through to implementation, including: establishing requirements, evaluating priorities and deadlines, forming and iterating a backlog, planning and tracking delivery, maintaining JIRA and Confluence records, ensuring that relevant risks, issues and dependencies are being managed, and reporting at various levels across the organization.
In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project and program management, it's a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, delivery and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Ensure project and program data is correctly represented in the appropriate system of record and produce periodic roadmaps and reporting to meet the needs of stakeholders across the organization
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

  • Knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (Agile certification preferred)
  • Experience with project management and Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Align, MS Project, MS Teams)
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Experience of delivering platforms at scale via any of the major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), ideally in a financial markets setting

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
