A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT US!

Foods Connected is an award winning cloud based software platform that helps retailers and food companies across the world manage their supply chain, quality control, and trading and planning management. Our software solutions are currently utilised by 10 of the largest food retailers in the world. As a team, we provide tools that help our customers manage their processes in a fast and efficient way and provide real-time visibility and reporting on what is happening in their business.

At Foods Connected, we recognise that our employees are our most important asset and we value creating a great working environment to ensure our team enjoy, working together and solving problems for our customers. Whether we are in the middle of a fast and intense development sprint, on a Teams call discussing project statuses, it is important to us that our employees are happy and delivering the best possible result for our customers.

We're always keen to welcome talented individuals to join our expanding team. So if you're driven, detail oriented, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — we're looking for you!

IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Product Marketing Marketing owns product marketing strategy and execution across Foods Connected's platform, with particular ownership of positioning: defining how we talk about who we are, what we solve, and why it matters to medium-to-large food manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice/QSR businesses. You will build the sales collateral our team relies on, run our win/loss programme, and listen to customer conversations, including through Gong, for the insight that keeps our messaging honest. It suits someone who is naturally curious about the market and resilient enough to keep refining the story when the first version does not land.

The Product Marketing Manager will have a truly global focus due to Foods Connected’s expansion into markets including EMEA, APAC and North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Positioning, Messaging & Market Intelligence – 30%

  • Own and continuously sharpen Foods Connected’s positioning and messaging, testing it against how prospects and customers actually describe their problems.
  • Run ongoing market and competitor analysis, tracking how competitors position themselves and where Foods Connected’s advantage is real rather than assumed.
  • Translate product capability into value propositions that map to the priorities of food manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice/QSR buyers.
  • Partner with product management so positioning and messaging evolve alongside the roadmap.
  • Use AI-assisted research tools to track market and competitor shifts faster. Understand the impact of AI on buyer journeys and pressure-test positioning before it ships.

Win/Loss & Customer Intelligence – 10%

  • Own the win/loss programme end-to-end: design the process, run the interviews, and turn findings into a regular report for sales and product leadership.
  • Use Gong’s AI-powered call analysis to mine live sales calls for customer language, objections, and competitor mentions, feeding what you learn back into positioning and enablement.
  • Maintain a live, evidence-based view of why deals are won and lost, and use it to sharpen targeting and messaging.

Go-to-Market Planning & Launch – 35%

  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches and feature releases, setting the plan, timeline, and success measures with product, sales, and marketing.
  • Define target segments and buyer personas for each launch, grounded in customer and market intelligence rather than assumption.
  • Track adoption and post-launch performance, and adjust positioning and enablement based on what’s actually landing with customers.

Sales Enablement– 25%

  • Build and maintain the core sales collateral and pitch materials, keeping them current with positioning and ready for sellers to use with confidence.
  • Use AI tools to speed up the production of decks, demo scripts, and enablement content, without compromising quality or positioning consistency.
  • Create and maintain competitive battlecards and objection-handling guides that sales can use in the moment.
  • Establish Foods Connected as a thought leader in the food industry through insightful content, industry events, and relationships with industry influencers.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field and 8 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
