Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

As a Product Manager within the Integration team, you'll play a key role in shaping how Virgin Money Savings and Current Account products are successfully migrated into Nationwide. Working at the heart of a high-profile transformation programme, you'll help define customer and product migration strategies, balancing member needs, commercial objectives, operational requirements and risk considerations. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll evaluate product features, pricing, servicing models and customer journeys, identifying opportunities, risks and trade offs to support informed decision making. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Customer teams, influencing key stakeholders and ensuring decisions are supported by robust evidence, regulatory requirements and strong customer outcomes.

You'll also build a deep understanding of products, policies, processes and controls, helping to ensure integration decisions align with Nationwide's long term strategy and operational framework. Through the development of business cases, recommendations and governance papers, you'll play an important role in supporting investment decisions, prioritisation and the successful delivery of a seamless integration journey for members and the business.

  • Push for better - We don’t settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development

  • Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
