HSI-Skillco is revolutionising workplace safety through AI-powered training compliance solutions for construction and utilities sectors. Our platform eliminates up to 90% of manual work in training processes, helping organisations keep their people safe and compliant.

We're seeking a Product Designer to join our growing EMEA team remotely from Ireland or the UK. You'll design scalable solutions that solve real-world safety challenges, owning the complete solution lifecycle from research and design through to testing and iteration.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that genuinely impact workplace safety across multiple industries.

Location: Remote – Candidate must be based in Ireland or UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyse use cases to understand customer needs, industry trends, and best practices, ensuring solutions are relevant and impactful
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to create scope documents, define solution requirements, and align with strategic objectives
  • Design and configure solutions within HSI's SaaS products that are scalable, maintainable, and straightforward to implement
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to validate feasibility before full-scale deployment
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively, presenting alternative approaches to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to capture feedback, refine solutions, and prioritise improvements
  • Create comprehensive documentation—including installation guides, user guides, and technical specifications—keeping them current as solutions evolve
  • Test solutions thoroughly to ensure functionality, performance, and quality before release
  • Maintain and prioritise backlogs of enhancements and user feedback to guide future improvements
  • Partner with third-party technology providers to design and deliver seamless platform integrations
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, including new product features and integration projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product Management, Sales, Customer Support, Implementation, and Marketing to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption
  • Stay current with SaaS product trends and software design advancements to continuously improve our offerings
  • Identify opportunities proactively to enhance processes, tools, and solution scalability
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Product Design, Computer Science, Information Systems).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a related role (e.g., SaaS Solutions Architect, Business Analyst, SaaS Developer, Technical Product Marketing).
  • 2+ years’ experience researching and analysing data, including the ability to extract, aggregate, and summarise data from multiple systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams and geographies.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
