About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Product Designer to join our Design team. You will work across a range of digital product experiences on theblock.co, shaping the future of how crypto news and information are consumed. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, editorial, and business stakeholders to ideate, design, and ship impactful features that elevate our brand and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Design intuitive, elegant interfaces for web and mobile experiences that align with The Block’s brand.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to define user problems and translate them into thoughtful design solutions.
• Own the end-to-end design process for specific features, including research, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and final visual QA prior to deployment.
• Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across experiences.
• Conduct user research and testing to validate concepts and refine designs based on feedback and data.
• Work closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
• Balance business goals with user needs to deliver user-first solutions.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience and a strong portfolio showcasing their specific contributions to shipped projects, along with a keen awareness of best practices for working with and maintaining Figma design systems. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Bonus if You Have
• Experience working on media or content-rich platforms.
• Experience creating crypto-focused content or working within the crypto industry.
• Front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to better collaborate with engineers.

What Success Looks Like
After 3–6 months in this role, you will have:
• Fully integrated into The Block’s product design workflow.
• Designed features driving engagement, user retention, and revenue.
• Owned at least one major feature from concept to production.

Work Location & Authorization
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country where they reside or where this role is based, without sponsorship.
