Podcast Partnership Account Manager

Your Role: Podcast Partnership Account Manager

This role is responsible for implementing and delivering partnership solutions across Global’s podcast portfolio. The role will be focused on driving campaign excellence in order to enhance client satisfication and secure revenue retention. You will also be contributing to help raise the awareness of podcasts to ensure they play a prominent role in all partnership solutions and pitches — as well as supporting the wider Agency Hubs/DAX Supply Team in delivering podcast campaigns and quality podcast communications.

This role requires: brilliant client service and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and effective organisation and time management.

As a Podcast Partnership Account Manager– you will:

  • Project Delivery & Campaign Management (40%) Deliver and manage podcast projects with accuracy and attention to detail, leading on integral set up processes and monitoring campaign delivery.

  • Stakeholder Management (30%) Proactively anticipate stakeholder questions or concerns with solutions to deliver best-in-class account management. Clearly communicate realistic lead times and delivery outcomes to effectively manage expectations.

  • Team Support & Revenue Growth (10%) Support the Podcast Partnership Managers to ensure the continued delivery and year on year revenue growth of the team.  This could involve regularly researching and sharing relevant insights to enhance team collaboration and sales opportunities.

  • Internal Collaboration & Communication (10%)  Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders within the podcast remit and develop effective internal communication to ensure you are best placed to provide expert knowledge on podcasts at all times.

  • Process & Practice (10%) Proactively identify ways to streamline internal processes, pinpointing complications in the workstream in order to increase efficiencies and improve productivity.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Delivered podcast campaigns/partnerships to the highest standard, ensuring accuracy across all projects

  • Effectively managed client expectations

  • Established strong internal relationships to provide expert knowledge on podcasts

  • Identified areas to increase efficiencies and improve productivity within the team

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a media environment; ideally within an account management capacity

  • Previous experience of working directly with agencies or clients managing complex projects, ideally within media

  • An understanding of cross media activity and the role of other media in the marketing mix

  • Experience in managing and implementing media campaigns for clients or agencies

  • A sound knowledge of Podcasts and the commercial opportunity it offers
